  1. tried fuduntu on HP 110 mini, 1 ghz Atom CPU. PC is almost intolerable to use on Win 7, but really performs well on Fuduntu. Previously tried SoluOS and Lubuntu 12.04 but both had problems. Only problem with Fuduntu is it will crash after recovering from "sleep". So I shutdown and reboot each time with no problems. Excellent OS and makes the Mini a joy to use.

    1. Thanks for sharing your experience. There is a manual adjustment to stopping the post recovery crash. Please check Fuduntu forums.
      Thanks,

    1. Wow, Mr. Arindam. You don't have to answer. I copy your source code and my page now has same Table of Contents as you. You can see it here: http://linuxwindowsdesktop.blogspot.com/p/table-of-contents.html. Thank you, Mr. Arindam.

I still want to hear your advice in Adsense, for my blog. Thank you.

    2. Hi Ade:

You can create your blog first and then register an account by submitting your details and website address at www.google.com/adsense‎. Once they approve it, you can go ahead putting adsense ads on your blog.

      Regards,
      Arindam

  4. Some clarifications of the review of LXLE, particularly boot time. Measuring 'performance' soley based on boot time is half hearted at best, particularly if you don't understand the underpinnings that could account for faster or slower boot times. Yes its true that LXLE boot time is longer than Lubuntu or Peppermint, but why? No one seems to care to ask questions or investigate possibilities. Under the assumption that everything is the same and if it isn't then something is broken. Quite the contrary. The reason for the longer boot time is the use of a system component called 'preload' this component is responsible for loading your commonly used apps faster once you reach the desktop. This is the 'cause' of the longer boot times, its not a measurement of 'performance'. It's really unfair to suggest some type of performance gap due to boot time, it's misleading and uninformed.

  5. A review of Makululinux Aero 10 would be nice if you have time. I'm trying it now and it is very Windows7-like. I can see it would make transitioning to Linux from Windows pretty easy.
